The Africa Clean Tech Opportunity Explorer provides a systematic, evidence-based mapping of Africa’s clean tech landscape across key sectors and technologies, including clean energy generation and storage, electric mobility, grid systems, cooling, clean cement, and industrial efficiency.

Through country case studies, supply chain analysis, and expert insight, the project traces where technologies are being deployed, under what enabling conditions, who the key actors are, and how global dynamics shape local outcomes.

The goal is to equip African decision-makers and their partners with actionable intelligence on high-impact opportunities for investment, collaboration, and industrial development—supporting clean tech pathways that are economically viable, politically durable, and aligned with African priorities.
