Jeremiah Ogunniyi
Jeremiah Ogunniyi is a Fellow at the African Tech Futures Lab. He is an atmospheric physicist and climate scientist with interdisciplinary training in education, physics, and data science. He is currently a Research Fellow with the Climate System Analysis Group (CSAG) at the University of Cape Town, and previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). His research interests span climate modelling and prediction, extreme climate events, climate adaptation and intervention, and solar radiation management. He has successfully secured research grants aimed at improving the provision of downscaled climate information to support decision-making at regional and local scales.
Jeremiah holds a BSc and MSc in Physics, an MSc in Data Science, and a PhD in Atmospheric Physics.
