Africa’s vast solar potential, long overlooked in global clean energy investments, is now gaining momentum, fueled by a surge in Chinese solar panel imports. Yet, the journey is just beginning.
The conversation ranged from "pico" solar units bringing light to off-grid households to utility-scale farms powering national grids. And Rose pointed out critical bottlenecks that must be addressed for sustainable progress: financing access, grid infrastructure gaps, and the need for industrial growth to stimulate energy demand.
