Mohamed Sultan
Mohamed Sultan serves on the Advisory Board of the African Tech Futures Lab. He is a development professional with over 15 years of experience in international relations and economic opportunity, spanning security, justice, and social change. He currently leads Africa initiatives at the Global Methane Hub, where he builds programs at the intersection of climate action and sustainable economic development.
Mohamed’s career includes roles at the African Union Development Agency, shaping small and medium enterprise development across the continent; the Open Society Foundations, managing economic and climate justice programs; and the UN Office for West Africa and the Sahel, supporting diplomatic peace efforts. He has also worked in the private sector. Together, these experiences fuel his commitment to a more stable, dynamic, and globally consequential Africa. He holds degrees from the McGill University and the University of Bologna.
