Trisha Patel
Trisha Patel is a Research Associate at the African Tech Futures Lab, where she works on the Climate Interventions Futures Initiative (CIFI) and Africa’s Carbon Dioxide Removal Future projects. Her work focuses on the evolving climate intervention landscape, with particular attention to taxonomy development, governance, and the implications of emerging climate response approaches for African contexts.
She is also affiliated with the African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI) at the University of Cape Town, where her research focuses on climate intervention, climate extremes, and their implications for African regions and climate-sensitive sectors.
Trisha holds an MSc, with a specialisation in Climate Change and Sustainable Development, from the University of Cape Town.
